Susan Tidyman

Susan Tidyman is the State and Regional Coordinator for the College and Career Academy Support Network (CCASN), Graduate School of Education, University of California, Berkeley. She is also Vice President of NCAC. She works with schools, districts, and communities in many states as well as extensively in California, managing a variety of projects and providing professional development related to the implementation of high quality academies and small learning communities in middle and high schools. She has developed materials which assist teams with mentor programs, internships, partnerships, integrated curriculum, and sustainability. Mrs. Tidyman was previously the state administrator of the California Partnership Academies for the California Department of Education. With her guidance the number of academies in California grew from 45 to nearly 300. (See CCASN website: ccasn.berkeley.edu)
