If there is an award out there, DK Brand Strategy has won it! Although DK does not focus on winning awards, we are delighted when our clients achieve national recognition for their work. For this reason, Pam is asked to speak at National Conferences across the country to share the process of building strong brands.
A former executive at Wendy’s International, Inc. a Dublin, OH-based quick service restaurant and third largest hamburger chain in the United States, Pam learned business and relationship building skills under the tutelage of founder Dave Thomas. She began her career in brand management managing the Old Fashioned Combo Meals Brand, and supervised Coca-Cola's involvement as a marketing partner. Daly’s responsibilities were then expanded to include developing national marketing plans for all brands and then establishing and directing the National Event Marketing Division.
Gaylord Entertainment recruited Daly in the late nineties to direct the marketing arm of the Strategic Alliances Department. Her responsibilities included building marketing and account management functions to support over 36 strategic alliance/partner relationships undertaken by the corporation and to assist in strategic marketing planning for over 20 Gaylord-owned business units.
Previously, Daly worked for two Pittsburgh, PA-based agencies: MARC Advertising on the National Long John Silver’s account; and Stern Advertising on the McDonald’s Restaurants account. She is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Ohio University with a double major in Marketing and Finance.
DK Brand Strategy has been honored three times as a Music City Future 50 Company. This annual recognition program established by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates the 50 fastest growing, privately owned local companies. Daly served as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Sports Administration Program at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She also served as the Chairman of the Small Business Councils, Marketing and Advertising Committee as part of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. Pam also served on the board of directors for Conexion Americas, The Center for Children and Families and the advisory board for the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition. Daly chaired the revenue committee for the annual Adventure Science Center’s Caper from 2005-2008 and served on the Executive Leadership Team for the Save the Preds Campaign in 2007.
Pam also served as a co-chair for the Chamber’s Education Report Card Committee. Convened each year by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Education Report Card Committee is comprised of a diverse group of concerned citizens who serve as the voice of the community in evaluating Metro Nashville Public Schools. Pam is also a graduate of the 2008-2009 Class of Leadership Nashville.
